Hey all you Kitties out there ... It's me DaisyJiji !

Youngest kitty of the bunch & best friend to the doggies in my house.
Yes yes I am.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these big ole doggies!

That's me in the pic below with them, King & Flower.

I show those doggies how to eat grass.

Mom says that I must be watched by all of us when I am outside. WHAT!?!

Me ... I would never trot off ... Okay, well yes I would. ((silly wiggle))

Anywhoo ... The story.

Flower is only 7 months old & she had a crazy day yesterday!

Read on:

We call her Flower POWER. Cuz she is a force of nature.

Nothing like Mr. King.

Flower is a wild girl.

Mom says she is a working doggie. Needs to be busy.

Mostly she is busy chewing on Mr. King's ankles or licking my entire head. ((ick))

Well, yesterday mom took the doggies to the dog park & Flower got in big trouble.

Yep! Mom says she got herself busy into the bottom of a crazy dog pile.

EEEK.

Big men at the dog park braved the frenzied pile & got Flower out.

Mom says Flower boohooed a bit.

Everyone at the dog park was mortified. ((nice of them))

Mom hoisted all 40 pounds of Flower up into her arms & carried her out like a big basket of Flowers. ((Ha ha!)) Just like a bunch of heavy white tulips. Imagine?

I hear Flower was wagging her tail the entire way. Like a goofy white flag of surrender.

Mom said Mr King was bouncing around like a village idiot nipping on Flower's furry white toes. Dogs honestly they have no brains ... I know this firsthand. Gah!!!

More ...

When they came home our mom promptly lifted Flower onto the kitchen counter.

WHAT ... I was so mad! That is my domain. So I glared at this & turned my back on them.

Flower licked mom's face while mom examined every inch of her poop/leaf covered body.

That hound smelled bad. What is in that dog park anyway? Is it just a big litter box?

Gross!

Mom found nothing of interest & lifted her down.

She walked all around the kitchen with a very happy face.

Mom washed her own face. Dog licks are hard to remove. I know!

Next ...

I "heard" from Tannie Man, he watched this ... Not sure if we should believe him.

Hmmm?

But Tannie says Flower took a BATH. In the house! NO.

Gah ... I drink from a bathtub. Horrors ...

Tannie says mom plunked that crazy Flower into the guest bathtub.

He claims to have watched the entire bathing event.

He says Flower loved it.

Mom served up warm bubbly water with special doggie shampoo.

Flower really loved the extensive neck washing ... lots of icky stuff there.

Tannie says Flower was gazing at mom with love in her eyes. (whatever!)

Good news, this DID NOT HAPPEN IN MY BATHTUB. Phew!

Tannie watched Flower drink from the faucet. Eww.

And then Flower shook ... Oh my!

I guess there was water & poo everywhere.

Tannie ran off at that point. He is a smart kitty.

Glad I missed that!

The good news is Flower is clean, happy & healthy looking!

She got to sleep in a very clean & warm quilt from the laundry room ... Wow.

Tomorrow she is going to visit the "horrors" VET.

Mom had to give Mr. King a special treat ... he felt very left out & had his sad face on.

As for myself ... Well, I had to sneak up on Flower while she slept & sniff her furs.

I also licked her ear a little bit.

She smelled really good ... like a Flower!

I saw in the last post that you had left a comment regarding the pup.
The pup-tales below are from our Mom.
Meantime I will be off to enjoy the cool crisp weather ... In hopes of seeing a little green lizard via the screened in porch.

Dear Poupounettes,
I have been a very busy puppy-Mom wrangling all the critters in the house.
Puppy rearing is a daunting task not to be taken lightly ... And with much love!

June 2011 I realized Mr. King needed a buddy & girlfriend. Daisy Jiji was doing a great job of being a good kitty pal. But she was not up to the task of wrestling or chasing squirrels with. In addition, Daisy Jiji is a solo girl. She prefers her own company in her adventures.

Mid June I began a puppy search for the right pal for King & the kitty clan. I needed a small dog with good kitty mojo or a puppy with some spunk. I tried with breed specific rescue organizations ... Filled out all the forms, altered my vet for the reference phone calls & WAITED. And WAITED.

Like obtaining King, I had no patience (King came from Craigslist) I needed a dog now! All the dogs I tried to adopt, were adopted before I could see them or the foster homes were busy & could see me in a couple weeks - Hmmm, I think they were attached to the dogs!

Finally I decided to go to Operation Kindness a wonderful no-kill rescue facility. I decided to go with my instincts & get the dog or puppy that caught my eye. The day I went I found a sweet brown puppy! After waiting an hour for the staff to find the pups records it turned out it had already been adopted. Alas I went home with no puppy. It was hard to leave without adopting another kitty! So many pretty kitties ... All in a safe & wonderful place. So I drove home without a doggy pal for King.

A week later I woke early in the morning & decided to go back to Operation Kindness. I had been on their web site and had seen no update regarding puppies. By this time I had decided to get a puppy after discussions with the staff, due to my kitty clan. We agreed a pup might adjust better to my existing group the best.

I walked up to the door to find the facility wasn't open yet. Already a small crowd had gathered outside. I peeked into the window to see if there were any puppies in the lobby. I saw some little bitty Dachshunds & some German Shepherd pups. Um, nope ... Not quite right.

They opened the door ... We all herded in. I decided to take a seat in the lobby & chat with the staff once everyone received help & was settled in. About 10 minutes later a door in the back opened & out came staff with a bag of shredded newspaper along with a little fence. Right behind were 3 teenage girls, each holding a wiggling white fluff ball: Lillie, Millie & Tillie.

I fell in love!

One of the 3 pups was extra fluffy ... And before her paws touch the newspaper I had her in my arms. My new puppy!

Flower came home with me July 7th.
She had been fixed & she was a spitfire! The drive home was hilarious ... She tinkled in her crate, growled at me, barked fiercely periodically & then spent most her time watching the world go by in the car. Fearless is how I would describe her trip home. The minute she saw King she went straight for his mouth & hasn't stopped licking it since. =^,,^=

About Flower:
She loves King.
She is a Taurus.
She is 4 months old.
She & Daisy Jiji have found their happy place, finally.
Above all, she & King spend hours wrestling. HOURS!
She gets into all kinds of trouble ... Beyond King's puppy days!
She take everything away from King in the house - He loves it.
She guzzles water out of the hose with vigor & finds a good mud bath rejuvenating.
King is the best 'puppy' dog. He lets her bites his ears, legs, tails & any other body part that goes by her mouth.

Flower's first visit to the dog park was great, very different from King. She has tons of confidence, has places to go & people to greet. Upon entering the park now, all the humans call out her name & she runs like the wind into their laps. A 20 pound cream puff!

We adore her!

Dear Alice ... We shall miss you. Quite a bit ...

Dearest Bloggyville,

Our sweet friend Alice, from We are the Rose Jugglers, has made her way over The Rainbow Bridge today.
We are very sad to know that she has left, but happy that she is amongst friends.

She was the first doggie to inspire our mom to get King & Flower.
Our mom loved to take walks with Alice & her mom.
Alice was the first doggie friend King made in the big city & he loved to walk with her.

On every walk, she would sniff everyone's front yard with her wonderful black nose!

Alice's bark was fantastic.
As a beagle mix, she could really get that bark going for all to hear ... Loud & clear.
She enjoyed fuzzy toys & soft blankets to snooze on.

She brought so much joy to her family & all those that met her.
Alice was a truly sweet dog with the most beautiful ears ...

For you Alice this very special poem ...

The Rainbow Bridge
(inspired by a Norse legend)

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next,

WHAT a p.u.p.p.y ?

Strange things have been going on around here! Look deep into my eyes ... Do you see that white fluffy thing? She is only 7 weeks old & a wild girl!

She 'yips' at me really loud. Odd? Well, I have hissed at her until I can't hiss anymore. So, if ya can't hiss at them ~ Join them. Uh, sorta!

She sleeps under mom's feet. Mom moves her into King's dog bed & she just waddles back onto the cement in the dining room under mom's feet. (Mom is embarrassed that the floors are still bare. AND she is flipped out that the white thingy likes the cement just like King.)

Best of all King loves the white thingy. A LOT!

The white thingy loves King back. A LOT! Look at them running ~ I watched from the patio.

The white thingy likes to give mom the bitey. A LOT! Hee Hee. Mom yips a lot. A LOT!

We rescued the white fluffy thingy last week from a safe furry rescue place & have given her a temporary name. Well ... mom calls her a bunch of things: pinball, cupcake, baby, pumpkin, hey-you, NO-not-there, Daisy Jiji - yep she gets confused & calls the white thingy my name. No big deal.

We are looking for a name from one of the Hayao Miyazaki movies. I was named after the black cat in Kiki's Delivery Service: Jiji. Mom needs to watch a lot of movies to find a name. Ponyo, Kiki ... Maybe too close to Jiji. Maybe Mei from My Neighbor Totoro ... ? Will keep you posted.

Also we aren't sure what she is. Mom will have blood work done to see what the DNA says. She did that with King. Mom got tired of people saying King was a Rottweiler. Pfft! Mr. King is a whopping 65 pounds of: Boxer, Schnauzer & bunches of Plott Hound.

Anypurrs ... We are all happy! Especially Mr. King. He is not sad anymore or lonely for a doggie friend. He has a new friend. A forever white thingy friend ... That chases him & chews on his tail, ears ... Even rolls on his head!

BTW, mom watches them very closely when they play. King has to be rescued most of the time! Hee hee. At night the white thingy sleeps in a big cage in King's rooms & loves snuggling in his old dog bed. She falls asleep watching King snore from across the room. The first night she howled like crazy ... So mom moved her into King's rooms the next night ... All are happy now!

3. Miss Simba thinks we're all odd aka she's the same
4. THAT Little Bunny is suspicious of King ... VERY!
5. Daisy Jiji likes to lay on the cool bricks in the patio waiting for geckos (none caught)
6. Mr King dog will be 1 yr old June 26th & he's the BEST doggie

Mom has been very busy with that dog - KING! But she has found time to read thx to her iPhone. Sad for me, cuz I really enjoyed chewing on the paper pages as she turned them.

Oh well. At least I get to rub under the nose of the King. That upsets Mom. She thinks King will just lick my head off while I purr. No way ... He likes his treats better than me! But I still make Mom crazy by snuggling up to the big 50 pound pup - He is almost 6 months old. I LIKE HIM A LOT! So much that I purr really loud when I see him. He respects me cuz I whap him on the nose if he gets to frisky. Mom says I've trained him better than her. YES I HAVE!

Hi it's me Blackie ...

I have been protesting this dog's arrival via my non-use of the litter box for #2.
Yup, I have.

And Mom has given up & decided that I must be loved with the dog.
Yipppee!

So last night she picked me up & hoisted my furry self over the babygate.
She made me a bed on the counter where I could really get a good view of that dog.

I really enjoyed the view, napping in the sink, drinking from the sink & watching that dog.

Funny ... I give him my fierce growl/hiss & he sits!!

WHAAAAAAAT!?!?!?!?!

I can control that dog. Who knew.

Daisy Jiji does it all the time & now walks right by him when he is sleepy & that dog just lays there.
She greets him every morning after his quick run outside.
He always looks for her & is sad if she is not waiting for him.
LOL!!

BTW, Mom gets no sleep in our house anymore!
She is sleepy a lot.

Today that dog has gone to the groomer for social action.
Mom left him with Minnie a little cute pooch .... 10 months old vs King's 3 months ... She was wearing him out.
That makes Mom happy to see King happy!!

This is mom balancing a doggie bagel on her boots.
She has boots now because somedoggie nips at her ankles.

She used the bagel to 'divert' him.

Mom's Canine Behavior Consultant is training Mom to train the doggie.

He will be big & will need to be a "Good Boy" says Mom.

This is the pea gravel garden Mom & I built Sunday morning.

Mom is growing Patchouli in that green pot.

Miss LizzyBean & I are gonna trek out to the country to meet this guy:

He is part: Mastiff/Boxer/Australian Shepherd aka Furry Horse!

Lucky for me Miss LizzyBean, owner of a horse/dog Sammie & cutie Alice will be meeting the pup with me.

See the pup with his pink tub ... He gives kitty rides in it. His human Mom says one of the young kitties in the house wrestles with him & then gets a ride in the tub. This is what endeared me to this guy.

Status on the Woofie search: CRAZY! The story from our Mom:
Currently I have filled out 4 different Dog Rescue applications.
Mostly for Golden Retrievers. 'GR'
My goal is to find a good natured dog that will fit in well with all the kitties.
Based upon my research, I am convinced a puppy/young dog will be best for all.
There are many puppies that show up in care of the Rescue Groups.

The crazy part:
Friday I contacted one Group with a cute GR puppy.
The dog was unavailable because Friday it was transported to Colorado. WHAT?
They load up Texas dogs & 6 times a year transport them all to a PetsMart in Colorado hoping they will be adopted.
The puppy I liked was adopted by someone in Colorado today.
Sheesh.

Now, 7 things about me, Mom, via an Awardy from:

1. I am looking at the Honda Element with the "Doggie Package"
2. I jumped in the Rose Jugglers pool with my dress on yesterday. Heehee!
3. This morning I cried at the end of a great book: The Dog House, by Carol Prisant
4. Tannie Man sleeps under my arm every night in bed
5. I feel bad that Blackie must have insulin shots 2x a day
6. I am so proud that my Milkweed has survived the Texas heat
7. I am lucky to have good friends like Lizzie Bean, Brynn Bean & all their critters!

Mom has Woofie-Itis & is "Mad-Ish"

Major news ... Our Mom has officially lost her mind!

She has.
It is true.

Just look at this pic below ... She thinks this is herself.
Just where are the cats, we ask! ???

AND, she brought a WOOFIE in our house.
YES SHE DID!

The Woofie is gone now.
Mom says the Woofie was not right for our family
(Note to Mom - Uh, no Woofie, Thx!)

----- The Story -----

Mom has always wanted a Woofie.
She grew up with Boston Terriers "BT".

Based upon the BT's visit last night, Mom is going for a Golden Retriever.
~ Long story ...
Mom found one & hopes to meet it tomorrow.
She is a pretty rescue girl of 3 months old.
Combo of Lab & Golden, reported to be shy.
Yeah right!

Anywhoo, Mom has been inspired by these good dogs! They live with cats & are good friends with the cats:
Tommy & Bibi-Chan
-and-
Alice & Sammy

BTW, the BT that came to visit us last night was very interesting.
I sat on the other side of the inside dining room glass french doors & hissed at the BT.
I got very fluffy & just hissed a lot like a snake.
I also did not move from the glass!

I was transfixed.

Blackie joined me.
He let me do all the hissing.
The BT barked at us.

Mom says the BT was deaf & could not hear us.
Whatever!

Needless to say Blackie & I were very curious.
Mom says, clueless!

The other kitties in the house were under Mom's bed with the door shut.
Chickens!

Although Daisy Jiji puffed up like a blowfish before Mom whiskered her away. Hee hee!

I helped her make her Meez. Notice her outfit & background, this is where Mom & I have our best quality time - Outside. It is the only time I like to sit in her lap & purr like a crazy kitty. It makes us both very happy.

Notice Mom's outfit. She is wearing a t-shirt & pajama bottoms. She really does this. And her long sleeve button down has Skeeto repellent in it. Those Skeetos love to bit Mom & Tannie Man's ears too! Not me.

There were Men-with-Tools & big smelly boots in our house! Look what they did ...

Oh my GOSH, where did the wall go? Tannie inspects these very strange doors.

And, WHAT is that big opening next to the windows? Little Bunny hops on her tree & Tannie watches below.

Daisy Jiji take time to give her tummy a cat bath ... In Mom's office.

Now that the men are gone ... When Mom works there is room for all of us. Before we would crowd her while she worked & get into kitty spats. Now there is so much space & we can see Mom from any part of both of the rooms!

The BEST part is, I got to get a head pat from one of the Med-with-Tools. I was jittery & nervous. Mom could tell I wanted to bond. So one of the nice Men approached me. I got a quick head pat & ran off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you all for posting while Mom has our bloggy in SPAM mode. We got one SPAM that I covered in the litter box!!

Blackie: Once, he took a dip with Mom right by his side. She was not happy & came in with a wet Blackie. He licked his toes & shook salt water all over us. Me I am too smart to take a dip. Mom said Blackie looked like a wet baby duck & he could swim - WOW. He was in the water a total of 10 seconds - No worries, he growls at the water on the side he hopped in. Silly B!

Me: Hey, not in the picture ... Not Cool or HOT!
Hibiscus: So pretty! I just ignore it & walk on by.

Our Mom has made a special Awardy for the furries that have posted pics of the Hidey poses. We knowz this to be impawtant because the Boogeymanz & Bugbears are always on the looose!

Just today, I thought I heard one. Mom always has to stop what she is doing & go check out the situation. (Sometimes I just stare into space fur nothing - Tannie does it too. Don't tell Mom but, we like to see her jump up & go looks for Boogeymanz!}

Hey furries, we learned about the Snooze contest from Katnip Lounge. Here is our entry!

Close up of the Little-est Bunny asleep out in the porch. She loved it out here when the weather was in the low 70's. Not so much now that it's in the 90's.

Happy Summer to all!

We are baking in the sun ... Eek its been hot!

The organic garden is busting out thx to Mother Nature's rain festival. It also helps to have connections to a very 'hot' Horticulturist. He'z very hot, like a long tall drink of Texas tea. Nice to find a good man with a soil degree from Texas A&M.

Say hello to a vintage froggy door knocker ... He rests amongst the bird food ...

Daisy Jiji got motivated & found a new toy ... Old tall lampshade wrapped in thin strips of illusion. When I run the blender she runs around in circles in this new toy. Funny!

What I blend to stay cool & trim. Just add sweet strawberries! Watch out tho ... Drink it like Kool-Aid & you will be wiped out.

Just planted a new hibiscus plant ... Great sales at all the nurseries! This one is very tall. I planted it in a pot. Hopefully I can keep it alive during the winter inside.

Daisy Jiji's 4th of July - Let's go!!!

Oh, hello ... Gotta run!

My attention span is super short ... Cuz I am the Daisy Jiji. Hey, what's that? Bye .........

[To all Happy 4th or happy day. I finally took the time to try to capture Miss Crazy Town. One photo just wasn't enough. She just moves to fast & wants lots of pets along the way. Here is a sample of 5 minutes with Daisy Jiji! While I chased her around with my iPhone, all the other cats were sound asleep - Always the case. Daisy meeps at me until I play with her when the gang naps. Enjoy ... The youngest & crazyest of my bunch ~ Miss Daisy Jiji.]

Footnote: Daisy Jiji has finally gone to sleep. She enjoyed the photo shoot. Especially getting to be lifted into the cabinet with the toilet paper. I got a couple of biteys when I lifted her out!

Whenever Daisy eats she must have me there to pet her head. She happily crunches on Blackie's dry food while I sit & provide a head massage. Blackie usually watches. Yes, this all occurs in the master bathroom. It's a long story, but it works for everyone!

Daisy wrapped up her photo session at Little Bunny's snack area in the guest bedroom. A rare moment for Daisy Jiji. Usually LB chases her out. Instead she got a big snack for her hard work as a kitty model!

Litterbox gardening, Swallowtail caterpillars & Hawks!

Hi ya Furries & Beans!!

Miss Simba Kitty writing today.

1st of all, we are all health & happy. As mom says that is a miracle around here. 5 of us kitties are doing noth'in but napping a tossing up an occasional hairball. Life is good!

See the pics below & I will tell a story to each:

You see 3 kitties here: THAT Little Bunny on the right, Tannie Man the gold boy sitting on Daisy Jiji. A very rare moment on the porch for any of us to be almost sitting on one another. Bird watching is prime out here, so we do whatever to get a good spot! Special note: We have seen a Hawk in our yard! Mom runs out there & yells at him. The Bluejays yell at him too ... They are the best alarm system ever! Nature is crazy mom says.

Swallowtail caterpillar top left of pic below - Click on pic to see him better. He is munching out on our mom's Rue. She has bought so much Rue that we have become a caterpillar farm. Mom got netting/wedding veil stuff, to keep the wasps & pesky birds away. And now we have 2 chrysalis ... Which mean big pretty butterflies soon!! BTW, we could care less about caterpillars ... BUT Tannie Man chases butterflies outside. He is too chubby to catch them. But it is fun to watch him run around the yard. Hee hee!

Here is the handsome Tannie Man aka Sweeet T. He is waiting for a butterfly or moth to glide by. To date he has chased many & caught none. When mom waters the plants with the big sprayer Tannie runs into the flower beds or the meadow (non-cut lawn) and hides out like a bandit.

Say hello to our 7 foot tall bee magnet. This tall guy grew from a rogue sunflower seed from the bird food. The bees love him! Currently his big yellow head is hanging low. He's about to drop his seeds! His head is the size of a dinner plate. Look very close at the pic, do you see the bumble bee?

Aww a cute human bean mom saw at the Dallas Arboretum. She went there to get gardening ideas. This little guy was throwing the pea gravel into the flower beds. Imagine that!!!

THAT Little Bunny ... We have learned she is not a big outdoor fan. If it's over 80 degrees, she won't go out on the porch. I guess the grey furs just get to warm. Me ... I will be out no matter what! Rain or shine ... Or thunder. Yep, the feral in me loves the outdoor porch! So, THAT Little Bunny perches on the big dining table & watches us with her green eyes. Mom drops her a treat when she walks in from the porch. Little Bunny trained mom well!

The best for last! See Mr. Blackie below, well he has turned out to be the 'King of the Outdoors'. Who knew?

The story:

Mom only allows Blackie & Tannie outside with her. The rest of us all have feral history & mom is sure we would hop on down the alley never to be seen again. No worries, we are good with that ... We get lotsa good chow, warm clean towels & headrubs daily - The Life!

Anywho, B & T go out with mom when she gardens: Tannie runs around & prefers to be ignored while he is outside. He only comes over for a pet when he wants in. And especially if he needs to go to the litterbox. LOL!

Blackie has completely embraced the entire backyard experience. He has tried to touch noses with a young squirrel - Mom had to spray them with the "mist" selection on the garden hose thingy. The squirrel mom & our mom were flipping out!

Blackie has chased the Mallard ducks. They waddle faster than he runs. When he slinks down in the grass & stalks the ducks his belly & the grass are like one. Mom says he dusts the grass!

The funniest is that Blackie wants out all the time ... He views the backyard as his new litterbox. Hilarious. He will do his business anywhere: flowerbeds, walkways, dirt, leaves & anyplace with a good scent. Mom thinks he is really a dog in a cat's costume.

Lastly & mom says the sweetest: Blackie likes to cuddle outside. He walks up to the vintage wrought iron yard furniture & sadly mews until mom picks him up, sits in a chair & scritches his chin ... For a long time! He has napped in her lap before. I have seen them several times, relaxing under the treed canopy far in the back ... Blackie is snoozing & mom is reading Tweets on her iPhone. Crazy huh?

Hello Kitties,

Little Bunny here!

I have helped Mom go Green. We are planting treats! Treats I tell you. And they will go and get really big & yummy for me.

Mom says treats have names like ... catnip, catmint, cucumber, carnations, basel, watermellonz & Green Peppermints - Yummy. I know they will taste better than what she gets from out of her car.

I was a very big helper & even showed her my treat bag. She used some other little bags too. They had itsy bitsy seedy things in them. Not very tasty looking if you ask me.

While we were planting an inTerLopEr turned up - Daisy Jiji !!! She tried to give my tail the bitey. That girl !!

Go green everyfurry ... Treats galore! Rejoice the bounty of catmint & cucumbers. Bet they taste like TUNA!!

Little Apple & The Rainbow Bridge ...

Dear Furry Friends & all you Beans,

Hello from me Tannie Man ... I wanted to tell you all to go hug your friends today & be extra snuggly. These are pics of me spending lots of quality time with Mom. I am her biggest snuggle bunny!!

Our Mom took care of a sweet little 3-day old kitten for 24 hours. We named him APPLE. Sadly yesterday evening Apple decided to go the Rainbow Bridge. He was just not ready for our world. We are happy to know that he has many friends to play with.

Remember all you furries ... Go snuggle with your Beans & always try to be friendly to all new kitty friends your Beans bring home! This is me, pic below, telling Mom that Apple is very happy over the bridge ... I will miss Apple, too.

Hi ya, it's Blackie!

I am trotting off down the hallway really fast because there is an APPLE in our house! RUN!

The APPLE showed up last night at 6pm ... Mom brought it in. Mom's friend from the vet called her frantically about the APPLE. The APPLE is making Daisy Jiji grumbly. Mom says Daisy Jiji is green with envy, cuz that's what APPLEs do to little perky cats.

Just when I get better from my puffy face, only the right side - we don't know what happened, an APPLE shows up.

Strangest of all is the Tannie Man & the APPLE. He loves that APPLE. Mom thinks that's because Tannie looks just like the APPLE only much bigger - A lot bigger. Giant in fact. The APPLE is more like a seed compared to Tannie. A squeaky seed. RUN!

This, below, is me at the vet. I do NOT like the vet. Nope, I do not!

This, below, is me at my SouthWest food bowl. Even if I'm sick ... I love my food bowl! I do.

This is me, below, some days ago. See my sleepy eye ... It is all better now. Now about that APPLE??????

Glorious Spring - Seeding grass!

Hi Animal pals & your peeps!!

It's me Tannie Man ... Look below. Can you find me in the garden? I am watching the Mallards! Blackie likes to chase them ... The Mallards waddle faster than Blackie runs. Mom laughs & then scolds Blackie about chasing ducks. He just chatters at her, then chases them again.

Below is Miss Simba taking a snooze!

Here are Little Bunny & Blackie ... Daisy Jiji is checking the flowers out. Um, really she is eating them. Not for long! Mom rescued the flowers right after this photo. DJ will snack on most everything.

Lastly, Blackie helps Mom in the garden. He never eats anything ... Just gives everything the sniffy test. Then chatters lots.

We are loving Spring ... I, Tannie Man, especially love the sprinkler. Soon I will try to drink from it. For now I study it very closely.

BTW, only Blackie & I are allowed outside with Mom. We have 10 foot fences. Mom says Little Bunny, Miss Simba & Daisy Jiji are not to be trusted outside. She say they would zip up a tree & hop off down the road ~ Never to be seen again. Blackie & I are to chubby to scoot up a tree & hop over a fence. Not to worry, the other 3 enjoy the big screened in porch ~ At all hours!

Gotta go! Mom got grass seed. The doggie that lived here before did something to make the grass stop growing in spots. Mom got Penningtons Bare Spot grass seed. It grows super fast & then we eat it. (Don't tell MOM!)

Miss Simba's Spring on the Porch & our Mallard Egg!

Hi Everyfurry in the Land,

It is I, Miss Simba kitty!

We are very happy to announce Spring is here!!! No more snow we hope.

Also ... We have a Mallard Duck Egg in our yard. We DO! Mom & the Mallard couple are watching over it. Mom is not touching it & neither are those pesky squirrels. Mom has Googled about Mallard Eggs & talked to a "Mallard know-it-all", so we are good with the Egg.

Meantime, here I am catching sunbeams. I love my porch & so do all of us. We watch all kinds of critters day & night. Just recently the crickets started their evening symphony concerts. Mom says we could have froggy soloists soon - We have a lagoon type pool, so anything is possible! Frogs - what are those? Any furry know?

BTW, the best thing about our backyard is watching the Mallard fly in our lagoon. It is very Air Force like. They zoom in & brake right before they come to the edge of the lagoon. They get very chatty when they prepare for liftoff!! Once 3 flew in at one time while Mom was filling the bird baths! Then 2 of them got frisky & tried to make more Eggs together - WHILE WE WATCHED. YIKES!

Hi Daisy Jiji here!!

Did you know that Little Bunny is part squirrel? I mean, look at that TAIL of herz in the photo below - click on the pic to see how BIG her tail is! We are seeing a side of That Little Bunny that was secret to all of us.

She has become very frisky & growls a lot at squirrels - And me! Hey, what's up with THAT ?!?

Will you just look at her sniffying the screen ... She is a very graceful Little Bunny, but with a fierce attitude. We love to see her tail get really big, like in the photo below. Mom says she could use a big duster about that size!

The second photo is a nice one of Little Bunny & her boyfriend Blackie ... He loves the porch & sits on Mom's lap. We were very surprised about him being an outdoor porch lap kitty - Not me, I scamper all around. BTW ... Did I tell you I climb ladders really well???? I do. Pictures soon. (Tall ladders in the house!)

Dearest Furriest of all our Friends & those with human hair too!

We have had SNOW & lots of it. The best part of it is that we have a new home with a screened in porch!!

Yes we do ... A porch, with fabulous views of birds & squirrels AND birds & squirrels AND birds & squirrels.

The photos below ...

First you will see me, Daisy Jiji, with mom's colorful socked feet & a small amount of snow.

Second you will see me, again, in our PORCH watching anything move!

Last you will see the illusive Miss Simba kitty looking at all that SNOW!

Below for details of our new home - We moved in late January, just before the record breaking SNOW!

So, here is the story:

Mom searched & searched for a home that would be purrfect for all of us. You see, mom has never owned her own home. We helped her by sharing all of our needs ...

Blackie - Big bathroom with lots of counter space. Prefer 2 sinks because Little Bunny will try to snuggle with me & I must run to the other side. Enough room for a towel bed by each sink & a good view of anything outside. A nice bathtub with cool water would be nice. I would also like to see the laundry being washed. I have heard of these front load washers.

Tannie Man - Bedroom big enough for the bed. I must snuggle with you anytime you are in bed!

Miss Simba - Why do we need to move? I don't like the carrier & don't want to move.

Little Bunny - Porch please! I want to run wild in any neighborhood & chase anything that moves. No screens on any windows & good views of Humans walking their dogs ... I want to growl at them!

Daisy Jiji - I love to move & I love my carrier!! Let's move every month. I would like to chat with squirrels - I learned squirrel-speak before you adopted me - Top Secret, can't tell you about that. I would also like a big walk-in closet for my bedroom. I like to sleep high above all the clothing & YOU!

Little Bunny & Daisy Jiji - We want a hallway with no carpet so we can chase each other & ski across the floor. Practicing for Kitty Olympics. Would like to Halfpipe, so we need the hall to break hard to the right. Purrzzzzzz!

Our home - Everyone got their wish, except Little Bunny: The porch is screened in & LB is not allowed to run wild outside. But she does love running wild with Daisy Jiji in the Halfpipe hallway. They spend time skiing into the wall with glee!!

Hello out there ...

I'm Miss Simba Kitty & I'm a bit shy. Really a lot shy. Quite very shy. I'm shy.

But I heard about Tama-Chan's kittens & the kitty who went to the Rainbow Bridge, so I had to post.

I may be shy, but I think about many things all the time. And I think that those kittens are an example of how life is such a wonderful mystery. I also think that it is a mystery how we are so lucky to have this big life to be together & have wonderful memories. ((((((( thoughtful purrs )))))))

Big big day today ... by Miss Daisy Jiji,

Dear kitty-kat friends in bloggieville. Home of the tunas & kibble treats. How are ya allz?

We are very very good & are feeling very frisky & furr of cuteness. Here are some snapshotz of us. Mom had a hard time doing these cuz I am alwayz bugging her to play with the feather stick. I LOVE THE FEATHER STICK! I DO. I DO. YES!!!!

1st. Me & my BFF Little Bunny. She is a very young frisky girl like me. We chase each other lots. But she getz tired of my antics & waps me on the head, a lots!! But we do nap well togetha on the little kit-kat-tree. BIRDS abound out this window!!!!

2nd. Here are the old boyz ... Look furry carefully & you will see the Sweet Tannie Man way in the back. That's Blackie up close ... Little Bunny's BOYFRIEND. HA!

That's right ... I am the LB, queen of all I can see. And I see you lookin at me. Hmmm ...

So, we have been very busy round here!

Mom says we are lucky to be purrin & eatin, cuz we all was a sickly bunch ... All but that Miss Simba Kitty! It was really bad. But we are all very well & very hungry. Status quo!

Tannie Man - gold boy, still cuddles with Mom. Morning, noon & night. NO kidding. He l-o-v-e-s her.

Blackie - My main man. I snuggle with him all the time. He doesn't like it. So, sometimes I do my special girl call & we do the faux- you-know-what. Tee hee. Mom has to break us up. Hey, we are both not ready to have kittens & can't. But, well ...

Daisy Jiji - Livin for the water in the tub. She also chats a lot & growls at Mom when Mom doesn't pay attention to her ... Like right now!

Miss Simba Kitty - gold girl, she just hangs around on her favorite chaise lounge & watches TeeVee with Mom. She loves the pets while basking under the mid-century modern lamp ... And baby food. Mom feeds her with a spoon. S-p-o-i-l-e-d that one!

Me - Ever since our flea outbreak, I have learned how to rocket around the house on "high ground!" The fleas are gone - Mom wacked them all on the head & Daisy Jiji chased them out ... Honest, she popped them with her paws. I like to speed around jumping from all the tables, chairs, beds and leap upon window sills or into sinks. I can stop on a dime!

Anycat, hope you all had a really great Summer - We are glad Fall is here. Wind in the whiskers, ya know!

Pinkness abounds in our little fuzzy purrry world ... See these 2 whiskery ones in action:

First up is little bitsy Missy Daisy Jiji, she is really that little. Mom says that if we can't find that little kitty kat, just go look in the tub. Cuz that's where you will find this girl. She loves the water. Honest!

Mom even has a vintage pink washcloth to dry her off with ... Soaked after the game of "let's water the tub, while Miss Crazytown runs around under it!" Mom uses a little water can that is not in the photo. Our girl loves it!!

Then there is Mister Snoozyville. Sweet sweet Tannie Man, the golden one! Check him out below. Enough said right? His goldness keeps those purdey daffodils company much of the time & he stays clear of Miss Crazytown, who loves to headlock him. Yikes!!!

The Whippy Curly Tails are doing very well ... Not one of them is "under the weather"! Thanks goodness.

Here is pic of Miss Daisy Jiji & Mr Tannie Man the ginger boy. They have become the best of wrestlin friends. Tannie weights about 12 lbs & Daisy Jiji 8lbs. They are hilarious to watch.

~ Look at Tannie Man's big fluffy tail in the pic. This is mid-wrestle.

I truly believe that this relationship has given Tannie his second life. He is so happy. I have even witnessed several moments in which Daisy Jiji has head-locked Tannie in order to give him a complete head bath!!!

I had gotten Daisy Jiji for Little Bunny ... They are both close in age. DJ is 9 months old. Late at night these 2 wild girls run all over the house. They terrorize all the house plants & Miss Simba. No worries about Miss Simba ... She has found high ground & has an impressive hiss!

One of our favorite Blogspots is over at Tommy and the Girl's place. It is quite possible that Mom got the idea to adopt me from seeing that cute Sei-Chan. Also THAT Little Bunny needed a gal pal to run wild with ... ME!

When Mom brought me home she kept thinking about the cute black kitty in the movie Kiki's Delivery Service. She could not remember that cat's name. So she let her Mom name me. BUT, then Tommy & the Girls left a message about the same movie ... They mentioned the cat's name is Jiji. So guess what? That is now my middle name. I love it.

Thx to Tommy's Beans for the message! Everyone should go rent the movie, you will love it.

BTW, this is what Miss Simba thinks of me! This is her hiding out, high a top her favorite look out post!

Dear Voters & Blog followers ...

Introducing the new "Queen" of the household ~ Miss Daisy. She has been officially Tannie Man "approved" & has already endeared her sweet self to us, all!

Day 2, her first photo taken from the sanctuary of her own room ...

Day 3, her first nap outside of her room ...

Today, day 6 in the "pink" room, after a breathless romp with THAT Little Bunny ...

Her official portrait "Queen Daisy" ...

Fast Facts about Queen Daisy:

1. She is 8 months old
2. She was adopted from the SPCA
3. My Brother saw her at a PetCo & took me to meet her
4. My Mother named her
5. Blackie was the first to touch her nose - It got in HIS way while he was trying to eat her food.
6. Tannie was the second to touch her nose with his nose - He is such a sweetie!
7. Simba spent 5 days in the top of a cat tree as an observer - She did go out for food & litter box duty!
8. THAT Little Bunny was NOT happy about Daisy. Nope, not at all ...
9. Today, THAT Little Bunny gave in to Daisy & decided she was OK
10. THANK GOODNESS!

As a new cat-mom, I have been sleep deprived & thought at moments "WHAT WAS I THINKING!" But then last night I allowed Daisy to sleep on the big bed with Tannie, Blackie & I. Little Bunny & Miss Simba went back to their normal modes of operation & slept in their favorite spots - ALL NIGHT LONG! We all slept through the night. Heaven!

Few more things ...

I have had to rip out a portion of my kitchen floorboard to allow Daisy to wiggle out of the cabinet space that she managed to squeeze into. Seriously ... She is like a tiny little mouse. I could not believe it. Panic ensued & after I tore the kitchen apart, she just walked out looking at me like, "What took you so long?"

During a tense play session with THAT Little Bunny, Daisy walked over to the bath mat Little Bunny was doing the Hidey in & just sprawled out on the mat ~ She proceeded to do a big cat bath. All I could think was how will I explain my visit to the ER after I broke up the fight. BUT, Little Bunny looked at me in disbelief. No growling or hissing ... I think at that moment LB thought, "OK. She wins!"

When Daisy gets really frustrated she grumbles & talks to herself. Usually this involves trying to get up on things or wanting back into the bowels of the kitchen cabinets - Which I have boarded up!!

I am sure I will have more stories ... Until then, thanks for all the votes & advice!!!

We are all very happy to have Queen Daisy ~ Forever.

Dearest Bloggyville & Kitty & Doggy world-at-large,

We need your vote & opinion ... Vote over at the poll to the right, after you read this, please.

Our Mom has been thinking that Little Bunny needs a young gal pal to run with in the house. All 3 of us are 8 years old & we love to lounge. The Little Bunny is a wild ball of energy.

Mom's heart just breaks when she leaves the house - The Little Bunny sits in the middle of the room, looking sad. She does that silent meow thingy ... Sad, sad, sad. All of us are snoozing & the Little Bunny is wired & ready to play.

See this sweet little girl, below?

Well, Mom saw her today AND snuggled with her. Mom's brother meet this kitty too & said she would be purrfect for that Little Bunny. She is 8 months old & is VERY playful. Could we be her forever home!?!

Dear Bloggyville,

Tannie & I are both feeling a little bit punky! The Little Bunny has been a great friend while we both relaxed. Blackie & Miss Simba have napped along with us.

This is the Tannie Man's most favorite place to nap. It is his pink pouf, stationed right by the window with the best bird watching. Sometimes Little Bunny joins him when a squirrel drops by!

My brother even came over with some food & a movie - High School Musical 2. Little Bunny got some serious play time in with him - She is definitely a boyz-kitty cat! After he left, she curled up in her favorite spot for a long, long snooze!

Firsts - Things are fine. But they were nots good here in ourz house. No, not too good.

Tannie Man gotz sick really fast. Mom noticed his back legs were not working. He acted like he had a tummy ache. So she quickly took him to the VETS!

Tannie says she cried all over the place ... He was embarrasseedded. She cried in the car, the VET lobby & in the examins roomz & in the car. Sheesh. He says she gotz lots of hugs & bottle waters at the VETS.

Anywayz, Tannie had mysterious 1-day virus. Maybe even a hairball ... We found it later, after he came home. Weird, that Tannie just hopped right outta the carrier when he came home that day ... Almost a changed kitty. Mom ... She is still jittery & stares at us, gives us treats & makes us drink lots of water -- See that's me in the pic, up above!!

So, sorryz Mom has not beens blogging. She just got wore out. AND, that Tannie is as good as new ... Maybe better, he gotz a B12 shot & anti-botics. He is back ta rassel-in with me. Yippee.

SYDNEY – "Sam" the koala, the most famous furry survivor of Australia's worst-ever wildfires, is healing well thanks to the efforts of caretakers at a rescue shelter — and she even has a new boyfriend, "Bob."

Sam, who captured hearts around the world after she was photographed drinking from a firefighter's water bottle, has also won the affection of "Bob," another koala whose paws were scorched in the weekend's inferno, caretaker Lynn Raymond said Thursday.

"Bob is her protector — as soon as she is moved, he's on the move, too. It really looks like he's making sure she's OK," Raymond said from the Mountain Ash Wildlife Shelter in Rawson, 100 miles (170 kilometers) east of Melbourne in Victoria state, where the deadly fires continue to burn. "They're good company for each other."

Neither koala is likely to be healthy enough for release for at least four months, and are being comforted by caretakers who salve their scorched paws every few hours.

Global interest in the fate of Sam has been intense since a photograph of firefighter David Tree offering her a bottle of water in a burned-out forest was splashed across the Internet, in newspapers and on television broadcasts. The telephone at the shelter has rung incessantly with callers eager for an update on the creature's condition.

"It's insane," Raymond said with a laugh. "(But) everybody has been absolutely wonderful."

Sam was found moving gingerly on scorched paws by a fire patrol Sunday. Tree crouched down and held out a bottle of water for her to drink, which she eagerly accepted, holding Tree's hand as he poured water into her mouth.

"You all right, buddy?" Tree asks in a video of the encounter as he approaches the koala. Later, as Sam gulps from the bottle, he quips: "How much can a koala bear?"

Often mistakenly called koala bears because they resemble a child's teddy bear, the marsupial is actually a somewhat ornery creature with a loud growl and sharp claws.

Sam, who suffered second- and third-degree burns to her paws, has been sharing a cage with Bob, who took an immediate interest in her when she arrived on Sunday, Raymond said.

Both Sam and Bob were given painkillers when they first arrived, but they're off the drugs now, Raymond said. The two are still receiving antibiotics and have their bandages changed regularly to stave off infections.

The koalas are likely to be in the shelter at least four months, depending on how quickly their burns heal, Raymond said. For now, though, the famously thirsty marsupial appears to be on the mend.

"I'm just looking at Sam now — she is fast asleep," Raymond said. "She's doing very, very well."

Our Mom's brother loves to cook. See him below, he is making shrimps with pasta ... Ick. Garlic & lemon, not for me. Our Mom was really excited.

After he finished cooking, they both sat down & ate their dinner on the dining table. That was weird, I usually make that table my everyday nap spot. Just as they began to eat their shrimps, I jumped up on the table to inspect!

Little Bunny gets MAD - swipes Mom!

Hey Bloggy Beans,

It's me Mom speaking! The Whippys allowed me to tell my story. But I have to whisper, because I am still in the proverbial "dog house" with the Little Bunny "LB" !

Well, I got in trouble today with the LB. And I got a feisty nip & swipe for it - Ouch! I will tell my story in a moment, below ... Here are a couple pics I took after the "nip". The second one pretty much captures LB'S attitude ... WHATEVER MOM!

A little background on the LB:

1. She is the youngest kitty of my indoor herd of 4. The vet thinks she is about 1 year old - The other 3 are around 8 years old.

2. LB has lots of energy!

3. She is a cats cat - She plays well with all 3 kitties & respects when they are done playing. She even gives Miss Simba a run for her money.

4. She & I play with 1 of her 4 feather sticks multiple times a day.

5. She has her own room ... The "Attic" which is simply a nice shoebox sized space with no windows. It contains a full sized bed, litter box, chest of drawers, lots of LB fave toys & it is clearly LBs most favorite place to play - With me!! When I walk upstairs, LB races up past me, like a rocket-ship, straight into her Attic ... Chattering loudly all the way.

6. This little cat, whom I rescued from my old neighborhood, has a heart of gold ... A sweetheart!

Hi ya alls. I saw what happened & knows that LB just wants play times. She always does.

Mom was just sitting in the big fluffy sofa, typing on her puter, reading all yourz blogs. She loves to do that. We like to hear your storiez too. That Luxor is white, Parker always haz things going on, Daisy is a cutie & thoze dogs out there ... WOW! Wooffies Mom tells us. Garden kats, island & Meezers, some with Little Feets.

Anywayz, LB got mad at Mom, cuz she was not in the Attic playin with her. Mom works hard & needs a break sometimes. LB just doesn't know that cuz she is a teenager kitty ... That's what Mom says.

LB gave Mom a booboo! Mom leans over to tell LB "hold on & play time soon, k?" Mom is about to pet the LB & LB strikes ... A big swipe with that gray paw - Whapp!!!!

Mom let out a yelp & I came running! Even Blackie.

Sheesh! We all gots scareded. But not Mom ... She tells us its OK. LB freaked out some too.

Mom told LB that after lunch, she will paint a wall in LBs Attic & whip all those feather sticks around while we all watch the paint dry. {The paint is this "green" stuff .. Mom says it is odorless & has no chemicalz that are bad in it ... Its yellow like our other wallz.}

I fink LB strayed mad for awhile ... Cuz then Mom took these pics. Then Mom gots LBs cat grass & rubbed it on her belly ... She likes that grass ... Mom sayz it reminds LB of her old days livin in the HOOD.

Have you Beans been swiped at??? I never do that to Mom ... Only LB. She does love bites too!

Pfffft ... That sneaky clueless Little Bunny doesn't see me!

Mom thinks she is so cute & sweet, but she chases me. Which ... Don't tell, but I kinda like it! You see, that Blackie taught her to run after me. And, I just run away very fast.

Tannie Man won't play the game .... Little Bunny learned that early on. Tannie just sits like a budda kitty & looks at any kitty trying to chase him, like: "What ... Are you nuts!?!" Tannie likes to wrestle - All the time. Specially with the Little Bunny.

Under the warmth of the "chick" lamp

Hi all you purdy furries!

This is me, Sweet Sweet Tannie Man, cooking myself under the thingy Mom calls the "chick" lamp.

Even though we are in the Frisky South in Texas, it can get pretty chilly here. Last winter we lived in a big woft (loft) in downtown Texas & when Mom moved us there she left her desk lamp on the floor. All us kitties kept walking by & fanging it (rubbing our noses on the shade). So Mom thought well, what the heck, she would just turn on the lamp until she could find a place for it in the waft. And guess what ...

I acted like a little fluffy yellow chick. I curled up like a ball & snoozed under the lamp. Then Miss Simba did the same thing ... Yep, then the BBB gave it a try. Then we all got crazy & began push each other out of the way for time with the lamp.

Our Mom moved different baskets & little bath towels around the lamp ... Then each of us picked a place & as Mom says, we all acted like little chicks about to hatch ... We snoozed under the "chick" lamp?

Just the other night it got down to 19 degrees & iced up outside ... Me & Miss Simba put our ongoing hissy-fits aside & warmed our bods together under the lamp. Nice & warm!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No worries, the lamp is very safe & stable ... The light bulb is protected far away from our curious noses!

Hey BloggyPurr&WoofyVille!

This Saturday our Mom decided to camp out with us all day & eat lots of her fave junk foods. She is going on a diet starting today. We love it when she does that ... Cuz she gets in her PJs & boots up her Apple ... Then spends the day with us.

We snack with her all day too! Sometimes we gets bits of cheese if she makes nachos ... This time we all agreed that Velveeta is yucky ... Mom had one bite & tossed out her nachos. BBB even walked away from the orange stuff. Mom says the only good junk food she had were the 4 little Cokes on ice.

But, the highlight of the day was when Mom found the faux Spider over at www.onemotion.com. I happened to be in her lap when she got the link - Thx to one of you out there!!

At first I did not see the Spider ... But, then I went crazy! Mom kept giggling as I swatted at the Spidey. Only bad thing is Mom said that Spidey looked so real she lost her appetite. We think it will be great to use as a diet aid. Get hungry ... Go see Spidey!

Miss S has a crush on Luxor!

I haz a secrets! It's about Miss SSSS. See that picture of her, above, that Mom took today ...

Well, Miss S is dreaming of Luxor kitty.

She luv luv luvz him! Can you believe it. It is funny cuz me & Blackie think she is such a prissy girl. But Mom sayz Miss S has such a sweet personality, even though she is a jitter buggy kitty. Every since Mom found her in an alley when she was a baby kitteh, she has always stayed a bit feral. So Mom is happy that Miss S has a crush on the Whitest of Boys - Luxor!!

Oh yeah, Mom tells us this story about Miss S ... Before Miss S came to live with us she had to fend for herself in the backyard, even though Mom left here Fancy Feast & dry snacks. Once we actually saw Miss S get a bird & run off down the alley to eat ... Yikes. Mom calls that Miss S's National Geographic moment.

Pffft. We are so glad that all we eats is Fancy Feast & dry kibbles that say they have veggies with proteins in them. Yum, yum, yummy!

Over here ... It's me! The Little Bunny.

Hi'Ya all. Mom got us these succulent plant things. She hoped that I would not bother Miss Simba when she sunbathes by the window ... Mom thinks I will spend my time lurking around the succulents. Well, guess what? She was kinda right. I love the succulents, but I love sniffing Miss S too. Miss S hangs out around the jungle.

Other good news ... The jungle leaves are too thick for me to chew. So I just like to sniff around them & watch those little gnat buggy things. Mom said that the jungle nursery guy has kitties too & they never chew on the succulents ... But they love the ferns.

Santy brought us a Quiet Time beddy bye!

Hey bloggyville ... We got a really cool orange thing from Santy!! It is called Quiet Time. Is it so snuggly. In the pic Mom took you can see it in the corner behind Tannie Man.

It is really a bed for me! (Thats what I think anyway.) You see while I was waiting for my leg to get better, this place was where I spent all my time. It's really a great location ... Bird watching, a place where I can see what everyone is doing! Plus, I got to nip on every furries toes as they ran up the stairs ... Mom's toes too! Mom says that was why I healed so fast ... I have very good spirit she says.

Pss. Oh no, Mom just put Pride & Prejjejuice in the TV player. Sheesh! She gets all mushy with us after the movie ... Chick flicks ... pfft. We do like all the farm noises!!

I saw Santy Claws ... I did!

Hello ... Miss S here,

I told Mom that I heard Santy Claws hop down our chimney last nite. I first thought is was that crazy Blackie lurking around trying to chase me like he always does - What is up with that! But no, it was this big fluffy guy in a red & white jumpsuit.

He really scared me. I scare easy cus I am still a little bit ferrel ... Even though I have been inside with the WCTs for 8 years. So I was about to run up the stairs & slink under the bed, when I heard tap tap tap ...

Could it be? YES! Santy brought me a treat. My favorite snack ... A jar of beef Baby Food! Mom couldn't get me to eat in the summer, so the Vet felt my tummy & some other things I won't talk about ... Then said feed Simba Baby Food - YES!!!

Santy & I had a nice time. He even fed me my snack out of my own spoons. Ha ... Mom thinks I will only eat out of spoons, but I would probably eat regular, but I deserve special time with Mom with a spoon.

I hope all you furries got to meet Santy. He is real nice! But his breath smells funny ... Like cookies, ick!

Little Bunny waits for Santy Claus ... Catnip for all!!

Dear Bloggyville Kitty Kats,

I am the newest kitty of the Whippy Curly Tails ... I go by Little Bunny & sometimes just LB: Mom calls me like this ... LB LB LB! I love it when she does that.

Anyway ... A month ago I accidentally broke my back leg. The good news is that I am still a kitten & my bones grow really fast. So am now as good as new, just like the Vet said I would be. Mom says that this is the best gift we could ever get. But ... We would still like some catnip here!?!

So, if any of you Kitties see Santy Claus tonight ... Pls ask him to drop off some Nip at our house.

My mom just took my photo with her iPhone ... We are shocked at just how pretty I look. She was taking my picture & talking sweet to me. So I just put on my most cute face. I do this when we are getting ready for bed.

I get zillions of kisses when I do this look. Then I purr for hours ... Snuggling close to mom as she falls asleep.

I am the best furry in the land & purdy too!
