Hey, see the new recliner my dad got from his sister. Belle and I love to run over it. It is leather and is motorized...the leggy thingy moves up and down.I have discovered that leather is very warm. I am not sure if I plan to scratch my claws on it yet, hmmmmmm....
Who thinks I should scratch my toes on it?

I would never do such a thing, however.
note to chair owner from Edsel's Mom - we have a leather chair that used to look nice and doesn't now. and it's not because they intentionally scratched it. but because they have claws, and would sleep on it, jumping on or off the chair their claws would "dig in" to gain footing. you might want to cover up the seat of that chair, or train them not to get up on it at all!
Yeah, there could be big trouble brewing. Steer clear of it is our advice.

That leather chair looks pretty yummy to me. I luv rawhide chews. If you don't kittify it soon I may have to come over and taste it. Arf! Arf!
