Hi all ya'll furries,

Blackie is almost back to his normal self. Those drugs really worked well on him. He even takes his pills with no fear. Not me I would run!

All week Mom sat with Blackie in the walk-in closet. So I would jump on the bed and watch Mom pet Blackie. I just don't understand why they were in the closet. She even brushed Blackie in there. It made me very curious. Miss Simba ran in & out of the closet like a jack rabbitt ... she is nuts.

Now Blackie sleeps with us on the bed at night!

Blackie is not well ; (

Dear Furry friends,

Blackie has not be well in the last 2 days. He has been to the ER vet & his regular vet. All his x-rays & blood work look good, but his is not happy. Yesterday the vet gave him antibiotics and a shot too! He was a very good kitty at the vet.

He is sleeping in mom's walk-in closet a lot. He eats like crazy every time he comes back from a vet visit. Miss Simba is really sad ... she knows something is not right. ; (

They think it may be his gums or a tooth. But it is hard to tell because his gums are black. We hope the drugs work fast to clear anything bad up & he has another visit scheduled soon. ; )

So please add Blackie to your prayers!

Ps. This is a photo Mom took of Blackie Sunday after the vet visit. He likes to rub his whiskers on those pulls. He never chews on the strings just rubs his nose on them ... that was a good sign!

What ? It's all gone ...

There were some cupcakes in this box & Mr. Tannie Man was very interested in the tissue! We saw Mom eating the cupcakes ... she even licked the frosting off her paws. She is strange ... she likes to eat the frosting first with her paws then the cake part. We wonder about her ... a lot!

Hello furries,

Another hard day for me. I have to keep a lookout for Miss S cuz she likes to pretend she loves me then she bites my paws. Mom says they are love bites, but that doesn't fool me ... Miss S is just crazy. Hmph!

Then there is my brother Tannie Man. If he sees Mom pay any attention to me, he runs right over and tries to get Mom to kiss him ... you have seen his sweet looks ~ just like Zoolander.

So here I sit, just waiting for something to happen. There is good news ... sometimes Mom just tippy toes over to me and whispers sweet nothings in my ear ... that way Tannie Man can't hear her talking to me ... I love that!

It's very hot Mom!

We can only get our fresh air in the morning because it gets so hot in the day now. So Blackie & I lay by the open window every morning, but not Tuesdays or Thursdays ~ Mom has jury stuff to do. Sheesh! We love it here. Fluffy quilts to lay on & sometimes one of our squirrel friends runs by on the window screen!

Miss S is very suspicious of the leafy catnip. She takes her time looking it over. Her usual verdict is "no thank you" not for me.

But she does spend a lot of time watching it, the catnip, upon her final review. Then, without notice she pounces on it. Let the festivities begin!!!

Rrramone's kitties: Peek-a-boo & Elvis

Hello Furry Friends,

This is a note from Miss S!

I noticed that all you furries have been wondering about Elvis. You wonder why our Mom likes him and why does she come home with his smell on her jeans. Right?

Well, Mom has a new friend named Rrramone. These 2 kitties let him live with them. And they like my Mom stop by to visit ~ they love to have their pictures taken. Big hams! Our Mom says she asks Rrramone where their cat toys are and then she tosses the toys for the 2 kitties to chase. (She also goes to their kitchen and gives them treats!!)

Rrramone makes sure the kitties never go outside and they have plenty of good places to sleep/sunbathe/birdwatch/etc. If you look at the last post you will see that Rrramone left a comment! Also click on the next sentence to see a drawing he made of Peekaboo! Peekaboo dreams...

I hope that answers all your question? (I am really glad that they are not coming to live with us. Else I would be tired from having to bite so many kitty toes. It is hard enough to chase Blackie around the house to nibble on his toes ... sheesh!)

This guy is our Mom's new friend. Hmm. We are not sure what to think of him.

We have never met him, but when our Mom comes home from a day outside she smells funny. Her jeans smell funny around her feet. She tells us that is Elvis. He likes to sniff her feet & rub on her jeans when she sees him.

Hmm. His smell makes our tails grow fluffy!!!
