Blackie is wishing his "fresh" wet cat food would morph into a big bowl of dry food. Sorry BBB.! He is doing great on his new diet of no dry food. I thought I would give him a boost in his morale and feature him in Illustration Friday this week. Enjoy! =^..^=

I know it's tough - I've heard that your Mama put you on a diet. You, being the philospher of the bunch, must surely be puzzled by the notion that your lovely crunchy dry food could somehow be a *bad* thing...
...But, you are looking *wonderful*! Very sleek and handsome.
Maybe one of these days, your Mama will give you a little treat of some dry food?

We're a little late in our reply - but we had some serious binkies to do over the weekend. Here's what Mom says:
Sophia had the same problem. I had her on the Iams Weight Control, the Science Diet Weight Control and the Vet prescribed OM diet food. None worked. I switched Vets.
My new vet had me take her mostly off dry food. She now has 1/8c. Wellness dry cat food in the AM and half a can of turkey Wellness in the afternoon. She’s dropped 3 pounds. So we’re very happy! This has taken 2 years but her coat and energy level has been so much higher since we’ve started the higher protein food.

cute cat - love the filter (?) that you used on this photo. curious to know what that white thing is on that cushion in front of him...
The filter was done in Photoshop...I used several..hues, saturation, contrast...mmm, I think that is it.
The blue is his food bowl with his wet food....he does not want to eat it...he wants dry food.
Not to worry...he does eat...just very picky!
