Miss S on scratching

Miss Simba kitty here. After a nap or having a snack at the food bowl, it is always good to scratch n stretch. I do this in the kitchen under the window. This is also my favorite sun spot. Funny thing, none of us kitties likes to scratch furniture? Mom says that because we just like our kittie condos the best!

Sneaky Mom

My mom is so sneaky. She drops things in my kitty tree and then when I am not looking, she kisses me quick.

I am still a feral type kitty. Kisses can freak me out if I think about them. I know I am a lucky kitty, I can't help it if I am jumpy about kisses or lots of pets! But I do love Blackie, he is my boyfriend. When I am not nipping on his toes, he lets me snuggle with him. Mom says I am a "cats cat".

Hello to all you fun furries, Miss S here!

This is Blackie and Tannie Man when they were teenager kitties. They would wrestle just about anywhere in the house. I was not around yet! I wish I could have been there to nibble on their pawzies, yes I do.

But, here is the deal, my Mom has a friend who needs some help. She is going on a blind date and is not sure about something. We left her a funny comment with our kitty advice, about blind dates. Would you do the same? Click here if you would like to help, Jody!

Mom says thanks! She is so glad to not have to go on blind dates anymore.
We are too! Strange guys are not allowed in are house.
We get really fluffy tails if they come in-just ask the cable guy!

Mom laughs at my dusty head...she says, I help her decide when to vaccum next! NOOOOO.. not that bad loud thingy.

Many thanks to all the kitties out there, that shared their thoughts on getting kisses. Tannie could not understand why I laughed so much. And thanks to all of you I was extra-motivated to kiss all the kitties even more. Interesting thing about that, Miss S has now be come a kiss addict ... really she wants kisses all the time. WOW, who knew!

Hi it's Miss S, Tannie wants to know if it is possible to be kissed to much? It is possible?

Our mom kisses our heads all the time. When we hear her walking our way, we automatically flatten our ears and wait for the big KISS. She makes a loud noise when she does it. Cept at night, then it is a very soft kiss.

So, what do you think?

Blackie's Story, it is really here...at last!

Please forgive me for not posting Blackie’s story like I said I would. This type of behavior is frowned upon by Tannie Man. He keeps notes. My, little, evil OWL-ish, computer manager.

So now about The Sweet B, Blacks, BBB….here is his story:

I found him in a garden hose with Tannie Man, when they were very young kittens. So young that their eyes were barely open. They are brothers and I think Tannie is older than Blackie, but who knows!

Blackie was always a reserved kitten. Not a big snuggler with humans. When he was very little, his idea of a cuddle was to sit on your forearm. Really, he would just balance on your arm. Not into the lap. But if you picked him up when he was nodding off, you could cup him in your hands and he would sleep peacefully!

As Blackie grew into a teenage kitty it was clear that Tannie would rule the roost and B would just follow happily behind. Funny thing, the B knew his name but he understood that Tannie would come to anyone who called “Blackie.” Blackie would wait to see if Tannie would respond to his name, if not, then Blackie would trot on over to the person who called him!

About a year ago Blackie had to go to the vet for some issue. He was gone overnight and it was strange. The house felt so empty. Tannie looked sad, Miss S was looking for Blackie all over the house and that day I realized something… Blackie is the glue that holds our furry family unit together! And we did not know it, until that day.

Blackie is a friend to all kitties. He and Miss S are good buddies. Miss S just worships him, even though she loves to nip on his toes til he meeps. Tannie has the best brother. The B will lick Tannie’s head and then sniff catnip with him before a big wrestle.

And for me, well the B is my “big guy”. As my brother says, B may not know who he is or where he is, but he is a very sweet and loving kitty.

Recently he has become very amorous. If I am on the computer, he just waits until I make room for him in my lap then jumps up. Most nights, before the lights go out, he snuggles up to me in bed and rubs his nose all over the book I am reading.

He is my sweet BBB!

Blackie's Story

Hi Furries, Tannie Man here!

Mom has been very busy and promises to post The Blackie Kitty story tomorrow. She has been on the puter a lot.

Today she did have quality time with Blackie, she cuddled him in her arms for an hour. Well, that did not make me too happy, but since he never does that, it was OK this one time.

BTW, this is the evil look I give my Mom when she is on the puter too long. Next I try to take down the metal mini blinds!

A note from Blackie...

Mom has promised to post a story about me tomorrow. I told her these gold kitties have had too much blog time and that I am ready for my story to be told.

We can't wait to hear about the Pawtraits contest too!

Also, I would like to know if there are any other kitties out there that must drink from running water in the tub? Please explain to my mom how important this is. She is thinking of stopping this ritual we have.....HELP.

My new shoes, Tannie Man inspection!

Last week I got a great pair of new trendy brown sequin espadrilles.

I was so excited to find them for a mere $29. But there was one other person, ahem, kitty that was more excited than me.....
